Shilpa Shetty names her son Viann Raj Kundra

Actress Shilpa Shetty who turned mother with the birth of her son on May 21 has finally named her baby boy Viaan Raj Kundra.

The name Viaan means full of life and energy. Initially the baby was called 'Baby K', after his surname Kundra.

Both Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra announced his name on Twitter.

Shilpa wrote: "Hey tweetos,Yes its official, Did the naming ceremony today,our son is christened VIAAN RAJ KUNDRA:)it means Full of life/energy."

Father Raj Kundra created a Twitter account for his son and wrote: "Please welcome twitter's youngest user my son @Viaanrajkundra :) be nice to him and he may reply ;)."

Immediately a number of posts and updates was spotted on the handle @ViaanRajKundra.

"Pyar se lok mujey #babyK kehthey hai! Naam #ViaanRajKundra thank you for all you love and blessings twitter world."

"Good morning all, had a great sleep woke up mum n dad thrice in one night to drink milk & play. Thank you tweeto's for a lovely welcome."

The star kid’s naming ceremony was held at Shilpa and Raj’s home in Mumbai, and was attended by family only.

Shilpa’s parents, Surendra and Sunanda, sister Shamita, and Raj’s parents, Bala Krishnan and Usha Rani Kundra were present.

Shilpa and Raj have been married for three years and the couple confirmed the pregnancy news in December last year.

Viaan Raj was born in Mumbai’s Hinduja Hospital in Khar and is Shilpa’s first child.
