Reality TV show host Salman Khan's 'Weekend Ka Wow' (that's what Bigg Boss' weekend edition is called) was not so 'wow' for the house members and the host himself.

Every weekend he takes a moral dig at each contestant and reviews the household activities that had taken place.

Last weekend Salman was so upset with TV actor Kushal Tandon's bad behaviour towards actress Tanisha Mukherjee on the show that he said it would be his last season with the reality show as the host.

The 47-year-old Saturday gave an earful to Kushal for insulting Tanisha last week.

"If you are thinking that you can clean your image, it's a misconception," Salman told Kushal, and added he too had faced it and realised that one's mistakes are engraved on people's memories.
"Because of this episode, this might be the last season for me," he said Saturday.

Salman has been hosting the show since 2010 and has become synonymous with the reality show. It will quite difficult to imagine Bigg Boss without Salman.

But considering he has declared to quit on National television who is best suited to fit in his shoes.

ARSHAD WARSI: His comic timing is undoubtedly one of best in Bollywood. Having proved his acting prowess as Circuit in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Munnabhai MBBS', Arshad Warsi anchored the very first season of 'Bigg Boss'. The new concept bowled over the audiences in India and they loved Warsi's quirkiness. His wisecracks left housemates and viewers rolling on the floor laughing. But after Salman Khan's charisma it will be an uphill task for Warsi to engage the audiences and match the game.

SHILPA SHETTY: After winning Celebrity Big Brother UK, Shilpa Shetty got a lifeline in the entertainment industry. Immediately after her win Shilpa was roped in to host the second season of the Indian version. Considering she has first-hand experience to deal with all the hassles and havoc, the actress is perfect to handle the chaos involving the show.  But Shilpa is now associated with dance reality show 'Nach Baliye'. Her affinity towards dance and the glamour that comes with the show might compel her to think twice before taking up Salman's role.

AMITABH BACHCHAN: If Salman's name is synonymous with 'Bigg Boss' so is Amitabh Bachchan's with ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The superstar of Bollywood has been ruling television with his popular quiz show for many years now. But he also has the experience of hosting Bigg Boss season 3. Do you think Mr Bachchan will like to embroil himself in all controversies if Salman quits the show?

SHAH RUKH KHAN: That will be the day when arch rival Shah Rukh Khan takes up the challenge of stepping in to Salman Khan's shoe. Well, stepping in someone's shoe is not alien to him - SRK hosted the third season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ replacing Amitabh Bachchan. He also hosted the not-so-popular show 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai'. So SRK is not a rookie as far as hosting reality shows are concerned. With his charm and wit he can take the entertainment level of Bigg Boss to another level.

RANVEER SINGH/RANBIR KAPOOR: These two GenX actors and youth icons of India are sure shot crowd pullers. The chatter-box Ranveer Singh might probably find himself at home in the madness of Bigg Boss. The 'cool customer' figure that Ranbir Kapoor pulls up might help him tackle with the pandemonium and give a balanced view while hosting the show.
