Style Star Search in Dubai: Shatha Hassoun looking for you

The search is on for Deira City Centre's next 'Style Star', and budding fashionistas will have a chance to walk in the heels of a celebrity and strike their best pose in front of a professional photographer.

The campaign is part of Deira City Centre's popular 'Style Star Search', which takes place over a three-day weekend from Thursday, March 13 - Saturday, March 15.

'Style Star Search' also brings an added dose of celebrity style.

Arab singer and winner of Star Academy Arab World, Shatha Hassoun, will be making an exclusive appearance to meet with fans on March 15.

Deira City Centre’s ‘Style Star Search’ is open to everyone, and encourages shoppers to express their personal and unique sense of style. 

The event will be hosted in the Metro Link area, where a custom-built photo studio and red carpet will set the stage for the hunt for the most fashionable shopper.

A Top 20 list will be selected by a team of fashion experts based on personal expression, individuality and style sense, which will be then posted on Deira City Centre’s social media pages for public vote.

The winner with the most votes will be crowned ‘Style Star’ for 2014 on March 31.

In a grand finale, Shatha Hasson will be making an exclusive appearance at the Metro Link at Deira City Centre, from 6 PM onwards on Saturday March 15 to meet with fans and share some style tips of her own.

A popular singer and actress, Shatha has taken the Middle East by storm with her ability to sing in a range of regional dialects including Iraqi, Lebanese, Moroccan, and Egyptian.
