27-year-old Andy Murray, who is back at number four in the world, is all set marry girlfriend Kim Sears in April 11.
The tennis star is to wed in the cathedral in his home town — as a thank-you to loyal residents for supporting him.
The Cathedral is 1000 years old and was restored by architect Sir Robert Rowand Anderson in 1889-1993.
It is understood local residents and businesses urged the former Wimbledon champion to hold the April 11 service at the cathedral rather than at Cromlix House in nearby Kinbuck – so they too could toast his big day.

The 300-seat, 12th century cathedral is much bigger than the chapel at Cromlix, which seats only 28. Thousands are expected to line Dunblane High Street on the day.
While Kim is reportedly having four of her best friends as bridesmaids, Andy recently revealed he might have three best men instead of one.
Breaking with tradition, the tennis player said he wanted to have his brother Jamie along with friends Ross Hutchins and Carlos Mier doing the honours.
Nervous about getting married, Murray revealed to BBC that the honeymoon won't be immediate.
The busy tennis player will think of vacation during the off-season.
After being with Kim for 9 years of which 7 years they lived together Murray says he already feels married.
The Scot has plans to expand his family but the life-changing idea makes him nervous - in a good way.
Andy has also hinted he might be wearing no pants under his kilt - if he wears one.
