There is Much Ado About Nothing at Ductac

Timed to coincide with Valentine’s Day, William Shakespeare’s romantic confection of a comedy Much Ado About Nothing is being produced by Dubai Drama Group. Young love, not-so-young love, witty repartee, silly gossip, malicious rumors, mistaken identity and, of course, a happy ending all combine to make Much Ado About Nothing one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies.

 In a new production directed by Nina Hein at DUCTAC’s Kilachand Theatre, the shows which run from February 10 until12, will shake the dust from the 400-year-old text and update it for 21st-Century Dubai, a fast-paced, high-tech city where romantic intrigues abound and reputations can be made or ruined by hearsay.
