Trouble surrounds Salman Khan's life yet again

Salman Khan could face up to three years in jail in Blackbuck killing case

Salman Khan has been battling ill health, jail terms and a lot of controversies for a long time now.

The beefy actor has to gear up to face some more fresh trouble. The 14-year-old blackbuck killing case is back in limelight to haunt him. The Rajasthan High Court has finalised charges against Khan and his colleagues. The actor could be sentenced up to three years in jail or fine or both.

Khan's other colleague who were caught with him while they were shooting for the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' include Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre. The stars were accused of poaching two Blackbucks in October 1998, in a village near Jodhpur during the film's shooting.

Salman Khan has already been convicted for one year and five years for poaching two Chinkaras and one Blackbuck. HIs appeals are pending in Indian court.

Meanwhile, more trouble seems to be brewing on his professional front as well.

Salman Khan’s Yash Raj banner movie 'Ek Tha Tiger' has landed in fresh controversy after Vikram Vashishtha, nephew of real life spy Late Ravindra Kaushik, sent a legal notice to the production company asking for a special screening.

According to family members the promos of the film bear striking resemblance to Kaushik’s experiences in Pakistan and hence his family has sought legal assistance to either have a look at the original script or view the film before it releases.

Talking to a leading daily, Vashishtha said, “He (Ravindra Kaushik) was my maternal uncle who was with the Research Analysis Wing (RAW). Born on April 11, 1952 in Sriganganagar he also did his graduation from there. He displayed his talent at national level dramatic meet in Lucknow, which was also witnessed by some officials of the intelligence wing (RAW). He was contacted and offered job for the secret intelligence in Pakistan. Later he was sent to Pakistan for the purpose.”

Thus, the family feels they have the right to either go through the certified screenplay or watch it prior to national/ international release.

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ releases at cinemas on Wednesday 15th August.

Earlier Pakistan has restrained its cable operators from screening promos and reviews of 'Ek Tha Tiger' saying that the Bollywood movie is aimed at tarnishing the image of ISI.
