Twist in Vidya Balan's 'Kahaani': Sujoy Ghose in or out?

The twists that's taking place in the making of sequel of 'Kahaani' is worth of another story altogether.

The sequel of thriller 'Kahaani' starring Vidya Balan was announced a few months ago might not be a sequel after all.

And there are eports that Sujoy Ghose, the director of 'Kahaani', might not be part of the sequel.

Although the producers, PEN India Pvt Ltd, and the co-producer, Jayantilal Gada, are making Kahaani 2, the director of the first installment, might be replaced by Kundan Shah.
 
According to a report in Times Of India, Sujoy Ghosh demanded a whopping Rs 35 crore (INR) from the producers of the film.

But now that Ghosh is no more the part of the project, he claims that there might be a Kahaani sequel but the makers will have to do with a completely new script since the story is his.
 
The new director of 'Kahaani' sequel, Shah says, ‘I am happy to direct the second edition of the franchise. However, this is not a sequel. The story is entirely different than that of Sujoy’s film. I had a woman-oriented script, which I took to Gada. He loved it and decided to make 'Kahaani 2' with it. I plan to put it on floors sometime next year.’
 
'Kahaani' was released in early 2012 and director Sujoy Ghosh won the Best Original Screenplay for 'Kahaani' in the 60th National Film Awards festival.

However, Sujoy is not responding about the replacement news. On his Twitter page he pacified fans saying people should not react to such news. He even asked colleagues no to waste time reading such articles.
