Valentine’s Day treat for Dh50,000

If money’s no issue, celebrate this Valentine’s Day in style. Dubai’s InterContinental hotel is offering a crash-course in luxury love for the well-heeled with a Dh50,000 Valentine’s Day package.

The package – which includes the couple’s name written in lights on the façade of the hotel, a romantic couple’s treatment in a private VIP couples suite, and a 1001 roses meal – promises oodles of glamour and romance.

From being collected from the couple’s doorstep in a limo and driven to the Deira pier to being whisked away down the Dubai Creek, the experience promises to dazzle the duo “as your name and hers are written in lights on the façade of the InterContinental hotel, as you approach it by boat,” the hotel said in a statement.

“Dock at the marina outside the hotel, and head to the luxurious Spa InterContinental for a romantic couple’s treatment in our private VIP couples suite, complete with champagne and caviar,” the statement read.

“Follow this with a 1001 Roses meal at Reflets by 3 Michelin starred chef, Pierre Gagnaire, in the restaurants' private dining room. Stay overnight in one of the hotel's luxurious suites, and wake up to a champagne breakfast!”

The price-tag: Dh50,000.
