Vidya Balan enthralls fans at Lamcy, Dubai

The pregnant hot Vidya Balan a.k.a 'Silk' took her fans to frenzy when she visited Dubai's Lamcy Plaza in her new avatar.

Wearing a red casual pregger dress, carrying a back pack, with a huge baby bump Vidya arrived in the mall searching of her husband Arnab Bagchi.

But once in the mall Vidya Balan was swamped over by hundreds of fans waiting for their beloved Silk. Jaws dropped when they saw the star with a seven months baby in her tummy.

The star frenzy crowd did their best to catch a glimpse of the bold, sexy and now pregnant Vidya Balan who was welcomed with constant chanting “We love you Vidya.”

Well if fans can scream so can the star; she displayed her love for her fans by showering red roses on them. She interacted with her fans with equal vigor and allowed a much enthusiastic fan to hug her.

The crowd was eager to know how the actress managed to carry the huge belly with such ease, finally an elderly lady admiringly managed to ask her.

Vidya respectfully replied: "Aunty since childhood I have practiced this by tying a cushion on my stomach and posing in front of the mirror, this is something that every girl does so it was not that difficult."

Well, we are not quite sure about every girl doing that but pregnant Vidya definitely seemed to have practiced a lot before making her public appearance as the star showed no difficulty in carrying off her reel life character.

Vidya made the evening more memorable when she introduced her cousin and niece to the crowd. She invited them to accompany her on the stage and couldn't resist from hugging them. The crowd instantly fell for Vidya and she made a special place in the audience’s hearts.

As her fans bid adieu to the star they promised to watch her forth coming film 'Kahaani' which is set to be release in the UAE today.

“I had come here to shop and when I heard that Vidya has come, I dropped the idea of shopping and rushed to see her. I must say I admire the star a lot and after meeting her will definitely go to watch the movie,” said Dr Aqsa from Pakistan.

Urvi Shah, 62 year old, a tourist from India said, "I heard that Vidya is coming here so I didn't want to miss the opportunity to meet this very talented actress. We will go back hoome and watch the movie".

Produced and directed by Sujoy Ghosh, this will be Vidya's fourth woman-centric film after 'Ishqiya', 'No One Killed Jessica' and 'The Dirty Picture'. The film also features Bengali actor Parambrata Chattopadhayay and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles.
 
'Kahaani' tells the story of seven-month-pregnant Vidya Bagchi, who flies down to Kolkata in search of her missing husband, all alone in the festive city.
 
With nothing to rely on than just a fragment from her memories of him, Vidya begins her relentless search for her husband Arnab Bagchi.
