Wedding Album: Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles' big day [video]

Singer Solange Knowles' unconventional wedding was her perfect day, except for one very unfortunate incident.

Solange appears to have suffered a nasty case of hives after walking down the aisle with her video director boyfriend Alan Ferguson on Sunday in a fun-filled New Orleans ceremony.

But rest of the day, it seemed went off without too many more hitches.

Judging by the wedding photos posted by Beyonce on her Instagram account, a lot of care and precision went into organizing Solange Knowles' big day.

The entire Knowles family wore white, including a very dapper Jay Z.

The wedding festivities kicked off on Friday evening with a special screening of Mahogany, the 1975 Diana Ross film which Solange and Ferguson watched on their first date. 

Beyonce was on hand to celebrate with her sister but the absence of Jay Z caused many to wonder if the infamous elevator fight from earlier in the year was still causing problems for the family.

But everyone (including Blue Ivy) showed up on Sunday for the ceremony itself, which took place at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, according to People.

The groom - 51-year-old Alan - also wore a white suit, as did Solange's adorable son Daniel Julez, 10.

The couple tied the knot at the Holy Trinity Church in New Orleans in front of 100 friends and family, including the 28-year-old brother-in-law Jay Z and her two-year-old niece Blue Ivy, and singer pal Janelle Monae.

Solange and her husband-to-be rode matching white vintage bikes to the wedding site, with Solange sporting a sensible, yet stunning, cream pantsuit.

Solange changed into a caped white Humberto Leon for Kenzo gown for the ceremony itself, a look that was captured by photographer Rog Walker.

It would appear that Solange changed again for the reception into a third white ensemble.

Later in the day, Solange and her spouse treated their guests to performances from Kelela, Questlove and Kindness and there was even a dance-off between the bride and her son Daniel Julez - from her previous marriage to Daniel Smith - to No Flex Zone.
