Where you can meet Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan in Dubai

If you didn't have enough of star gazing in the on-going Dubai International Film Festival, you have another chance to satiate your celebrity spotting thirst.

Two prominent members of the first family of Bollywood are visiting Dubai along with the who's who of Indian South film industry.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan will be in Dubai on 26 December to inaugurate new stores for Kalyan Jewellers, the well-known Indian brand they endorse.

Film stars Nagarjuna, Manju Warrier, Prabhu Ganesan and Shivraj Kumar will join the celeb delegation.

A glittering Bollywood finish is expected towards the end of the year in the UAE with stars raining in all the emirates.

While details of the visit are still under wraps, Amitabh Bcahchan is likely to make an afternoon appearance at the Meena Bazaar outlet.

Aishwarya will be opening the Al Qusais outlet.

Actors Manju Warrier, Nagarjuna, Prabhu Ganesan and Shivraj Kumar will also accompany the Bachchans.

Each of the six stores will give equal importance to gold and diamond jewelry and will measure between 2,000sqft and 4,000sqft.

The first six branches of the century old jewllery retailer, includes Hamdan street (Abu Dhabi), Al Ghurair (Sharjah), Damascus Street of Al Qesais, Al Kamara, Meena Bazaar and Al Fahidi street in Bur Dubai.

Kalyan will be using a helicopter to ensure that all the celebrities are present for the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah outlet inauguration.

The brand is believed to be investing about Rs300 crore (Dhs180 million) to increase its footprint in the Middle East.

Earlier this year, Kalyan chairman and managing director T S Kalyanaraman was featured in the Forbes list of billionaires, with a net worth of one billion dollars.

The group plans to open three outlets in Kuwait, two outlets in Qatar and one branch each in Bahrain and Oman. This is the first time that Kalyan Jewllers is opening an overseas branch.

Beyond its traditional markets in South India, Kalyan is present in Maharashtra, Gurajat and key North Indian markets (Punjab, Haryana and Delhi).
