Neil Nitin Mukesh has finally got a good film to work in after struggling in the wilderness after the disastrous performance of his film ‘Shortcut Romeo’, which tanked badly at the box office having collected only Rs 22.7 million rupees, which is slightly lesser than the fees he was demanding to work in the film.

Post that, directors and producers shied away from him and two of his film ‘Dussehra’ as well as ‘Ishqeria’ have been stuck without being able to release.

Thus the headstrong actor who made a great debut with Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ has realised that he surely cannot go the Ranbir Kapoor way even though many people around him may have suggested that he could.

The fair, blue eyed actor also came to terms with the fact that he was not the blue eyed boy of the big film makers and hence could not expect a fair deal from everyone.

Low on his lobbying skills earlier, the actor has now managed to sign up for Sooraj Barjatya's next. Neil will be seen playing Salman Khan's younger brother in the film. Sonam Kapoor is the female lead in the film.
