ExecuJet Middle East, part of the ExecuJet Aviation Group, will be operating the company's line maintenance activities out of Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport during Dubai International Airport's runway closure from May 1 to July 20.

ExecuJet has established a line station at Dubai Al Maktoum International Airport, which has been approved by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to conduct scheduled maintenance packages on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Embraer and Hawker aircraft currently supported by the company's Dubai International Airport MRO facility.

Nick Weber, Maintenance Director, ExecuJet Middle East, said: "The runway closure period at Dubai International Airport will unfortunately mean a disruption to airport traffic and blanket restrictions against all GA movements. As well as establishing a line station at Al Maktoum International Airport, we are in ongoing discussions with Dubai International Airport to obtain limited slots to carry out base maintenance activities on arriving and departing aircraft and have currently secured four slots. During the runway closure period, we will continue to provide a high level of service to our customers."

The company is exhibiting at this year's Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2014 on February 25-27 at Al Bateen Executive Airport, Abu Dhabi.
