Huge tail-back on Sheikh Zayed road due to crash

A huge tailback is developing stretching from Oasis Centre as far back as Times Square on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.

An accident has just happened and police and ambulances are not yet at the scene. However, some people were seen on their mobile phones apprarently informing the police of the crash.

Eye witnesses said a four-wheel drive has rammed into the central reservation on the side from from Mall of the Emirates and going towards the World Trade Centre.

They also saw a motorcyle involved in the accident.

Traffic on the other side of the road is slow as rubber-neckers pause to get a glimpse of what has gone wrong on the other side of the highway.
