After a not so stunning Cannes debut by Katrina Kaif all eyes turned towards Sonam Kapoor to make Bollywood feel proud of their style nous.

And voila! Sonam made a splash of her fashionista side not with one but four different looks on Day 1, complete with her outfit and make-up.
It is not that easy to Keep Up With Ms Kapoor at Cannes but we take a look at her exploits.
Sonam in Ulyana Sergeenko
She started her day in an uber-chic dress by Ulyana Sergeenko.
She shot for some DIY make up tutorials for Loreal in the afternoon and wore Ulyana Sergeenko pale pink dress with puffy sleeves and hem.
Simple gold earrings, matching pumps and a braided up-do rounded her look out.
Next, it was time for media interaction and Sonam sent the temperature soaring in the Frech Riviera.
Sonam Kapoor in a Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree
The 'Dolly Ki Doli' actress took a plunge as she donned a tiered ruffle saree by design duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.
Her saree was paired with a very risqué plunging blouse that was high on details and boldness.
She styled it with a center parted low bun with dangling Suhani Pittie earrings and Bulgari watch.
It was a little too much for press interviews.
Her next look was for a make-up app launch for L'oreal. She wore a classy off-shoulder blue brocade gown.
Sonam had her hair in a low bun with middle parting and accessorized the look with dangling earrings.
The finale was the grand entry at the red carpet.
Sonam Kapoor wears a Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 Couture gown
Sonam Kapoor brought drama wearing an electric blue Ralph & Russo Spring 2014 Couture layered gown.
Her gown was complemented with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and dainty Chopard earrings. Her coral-red lips and lustrous cascading curls took her look to another level.
Sonam did not disappoint. Sonam's first day looks varied from an uber chic look in the Ulyana Sergeenko pale pink dress (for the L'Oreal tutorial event) to the extremely stylish ruffle saree by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla (for press interviews), and finally the electric blue Ralph and Russo Couture gown for the red carpet.
