Car that zooms on road, sand, ice... and water too

In this age of comprehensive gadgets and instant food comes an all-terrain vehicle. One that can balance itself on sand; zoom past on roads or even get you skating on ice.

According to a report in 'Dailymail.co.uk', the all-terrain vehicle that boasts a speed of 62mph and works like a hovercraft is designed by 21-year-old Chinese, Zhang Yuhan, for a competition sponsored by the German car manufacturer Volkswagen.

Called the Volkswagen Aqua, its sleek sportscar-like design incorporates four high-powered fans and integrated airbags and a large windscreen stretching above the front seats. The entry and exit is from a hatch at the rear of the car.

It uses a hydrogen-fuel cell to power two motors - with zero carbon emissions.
