Indian actress held in prostitution sting

South Indian actress Yamuna, whose work includes films such as "Mouna Poratam", "Mamagaru" and "Puttinti Pattucheera", was held for questioning on Thursday when a prostitution ring was busted in the software hub Bengaluru.

Indian media reported on Saturday that two other people were picked up, including a Mr Venugopal, the CEO of a software firm and a friend of his, identified as Suraksh. The three were reportedly caught red-handed at a five-star hotel in the city, where they had rented a room late Thursday night.

Police have not said if they have been charged so far.
