Egyptians praise Air Arabia for help during crisis

Egyptians living in the UAE have praised the facilities provided to them by Air Arabia during the Egypt crisis.

Such facilities included the provision of dedicated telephone lines and websites to receive requests from Egyptians who wanted to postpone or advanced their flights dates without charging any fees.

It has also sent (SMS) on passengers mobiles to inform them of the new flights dates, as well as sent text messages on their e-mail sites about such appointments.

Air Arabia and other airlines charge fees to postpone travel dates at the request of the traveler in normal circumstances.

However, Egypt witnessed curfews extended for several days, which hampered the movement of passengers from their villages and towns to the airports.

Air Arabia flies from Sharjah to Alexandria, Assiut and Luxor. It also was affected by the temporary closure of Cairo Airport.
