Top Eid breaks around the Emirates

It’s fashionable to be thrifty in this uncertain climate, so if you can’t shell out for a big family break away, why not simply check into one of the UAE’s many fabulous hotels?

We round up some of the best holiday weekend deals around the UAE.

ABU DHABI

Raise the steaks

Eid Al Fitr at the beachfront delight that is the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr means paying for two nights and staying three, giving guests more time to celebrate the holiday with friends and family.

Pretend you’re one of the entitled by checking in to Emirates Palace for a deluxe weekend break. The national landmark, situated on 1.3 km of private white sandy beach, is one of the most impressive hotels and conference venues ever built.

DUBAI

Family, food and fish

The massive indoor sensory theme park that is Atlantis, The Palm has rolled out a special two-day Eid rate of Dh1250++ per room, per night inclusive of a long list of complementary activities.

Among these are a day at the Atlantis Kids Club or Club Rush, while all guests can enjoy unlimited complimentary access to the Aquaventure waterpark, the underwater world of The Lost Chambers and the teenage disco Club Rush. Preferential rates are also offered at several other Atlantis attractions, including Dolphin Bay.

Highlights include a special Spa Taster treatment at the Atlantis Spa costs Dh495 only over Eid, and the Eid Cool Summer Nights events at Aquaventure, which will feature a night market and where guests will be entertained in a carnival-like atmosphere with Brazilian music, fire breathers, jugglers, stilt walkers, Capoeira performers, magicians and a fireworks display at 10.30pm every night.

Rates do not include service and authority fees and packages are valid from September 11 to 13 – dates that could vary depending on the moon. Other conditions may apply.

Elementary Eid

Each of Raffles Dubai’s 246 rooms and suites is an elegant blend of Middle Eastern and Asian design infused with the four harmonious elements of Life: Earth, Air, Fire and Water and from September 9 to 19, residents can choose from a variety of special Eid packages at the hotel.

Beach paradise

Sprawled along the sunny shoreline of the emirate of Ajman is the tranquil five-star Kempinski Hotel Ajman, where you can kick back by the sea.
