Unique art for coffee lovers in Dubai

One can make a work of art without a single stroke of paint or brush. Archana RD King aka B'lu applies coffee with fingers, spoons and palette knives to create one-of-a-kind original collectible art. 

 

Dispelling all conventional methods used by artists and art schools, this artist creates a new benchmark for creativity and art in the region. First of its kind in Dubai, coffee on canvas art works are now showing at the venue of the International Coffee & Tea Festival at Meydan.

 

King says: "It is after 3 years of constant trial and error that I have found the perfect recipe to keep coffee art unfazed."

 

Inspired by a unique coffee stain on her white coaster she started experimenting with coffee on canvas. The effort has received a lot of appreciation from many - art lovers and general public, included.

 

Coffee is not just a lifestyle but also a passion for those who love it. Middle East loves coffee. 

 

"I have 14 works showing at Meydan. The response and interest is overwhelming and tells me that am on the right track - pursuing the my passion for art." adds King.
