World's costliest homes: India follows Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace in London has topped the valuation list of the most expensive houses in the world followed by Antilia building in Mumbai, according to a new study.

The British monarch's official London home is worth $1.55 billion (Dh5.69bn) with Antilia, owned by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is valued at $1bn on the list of top 10 most expensive homes in the world, according to US website comparecamp.com.
Antilia is a 27-storey, 400,000 square feet building considered the first ‘home’ to cross the $1bn value and features six underground parking levels, three helicopter pads and requires 600 staff to run it.
Villa Leopolda, in Cote D'Azure, France, home of Brazilian socialite and philanthropist Lily Safra, is valued at $750 million, taking the third position.
Seventh on the list, Hearst Castle, San Simeon, California is valued at $191 million with William Randolph Heart’s Trustees being the owners.
The last three spots go to Seven The Pinnacle, Montana, owned by Edra and Tim Blixseth; Kensington Palace Gardens, London, owned by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and 17 Upper Phillimore Gardens, Kensington, London, owned by Ukrainian businesswoman Elena Franchuk. The values are $155 million, $140 million and 128 million, respectively.
