Bollywood attends Priyanka Chopra's father's prayer meet

Bollywood was in full attendance at the condolence meeting held in memory of Priyanka Chopra's father Ashok Chopra at Mumbai's JW Marriott Hotel.

Priyanka's father died on June 10 after a long battle with cancer.

Priyanka Chopra's father, Dr Ashok Chopra, lost a prolonged battle with cancer and breathed his last at a suburban hospital on Monday afternoon. Dr Chopra, 62, had retired from the Indian Army in 1997 as a lieutenant colonel and was ill for quite a long time.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Shing attended the funeral yesterday, was also present for the prayer meet.

Shilpa Shetty, who appeared briefly in Priyanka's 'Dostana', also attended the condolence meet. 

Kapoor sisters Kareena and Karisma attended the prayer meet. Relations between Priyanka and Kareena, who co-starred in 'Aitraaz', only recently thawed after a long period of reported frostiness.

Apart from friends and family, Priyanka had almost the entire industry by her side. While her cousin Parineeti Chopra did not leave the actress alone for a moment, Uday Chopra also stayed back till the last rites were done. Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan were among those who had rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news.

Priyanka's 'Fashion' co-star Mugdha Godse was also at the prayer meet. 

Anurag Basu, the director who is a cancer survivor and a close friend of Priyanka, who was present at the crematorium and at the prayer service.
