Ronaldo 'back' for Man U as 109,000 fans create history

No matter who you are, or where you go, getting Cristiano Ronaldo to sign something is always a top priority. While it's not clear what the Real Madrid star was signing here for former teammates, or if he was signing anything, Wayne Rooney and Darren Fletcher, the two United players look suitably star-struck.

The crowd of 109,318 at Michigan Stadium, home of the University of Michigan Wolverines that is fondly known as 'The Big House'.

The attendance surpassed the prior record 101,799 who watched the 1984 Olympic final between Brazil and France at Pasadena's Rose Bowl.
