20kg gold worth Dh20m stolen in Sharjah

Sharjah police arrested three Asian men accused of stealing nearly 20 kg of gold and other jewellery items worth around Dh20 million.

Police said investigation and an ensuing manhunt over the past few days have led to the whereabouts and arrest of the three thieves — two Indians and one Pakistani.

They said the three robbed a jewellery shop in the emirate a few days ago and that all the stolen items had been recovered.

Human trafficking ring busted: 75 arrests
