21 Filipinos convert to Islam in Saudi

Twenty one Filipino expatriates in Saudi Arabia converted to Islam at the same time after attending a lecture on the religion in the Gulf kingdom.

The expatriates would attend lessons in Islam and Arabic language at a government Islamic centre in the southern province of Jazan, Sabq newspaper said.

“The Filipinos decided to embrace Islam at the same time and at their own will,” the paper said, quoting a centre official.
