25 Asians arrested at birthday party in Saudi

Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested 25 Asian men and 10 women during a raid on a birthday party that involved alcohol and drugs.

Newspapers said members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice stormed the apartment in the Western town of Makkah afer receiving complaints residents about a noisy party, ‘Sabq’ newspaper said.

“We found a large quantity of liquor and some drugs. All of the guests were arrested,” a commission source said.
