5-year-old saves mom from drowning [video]

A five-year-old girl saved her mother from drowning when they were in the backyard of their home in Texas in the US.

When Tracy Ondroald, 34, suffered from a sudden epileptic bout while swimming, her young daughter quickly jumped into the pool to save her mother from drowning.

The surveillance camera in the home recorded the heroic act of the girl child called Alison.

Alison then rushed to bring help and the camera shows that her sister and aunt came and took the mother out of the pool.

Doctors at the hospital said the woman would have died if she stayed another minute in the pool.
