Arab found dead in Sharjah apartment

An Arab person was found dead in his apartment in Al Butaina area on Friday.

Sharjah Police is investigating the case, reported ‘Al Bayan’ and added that the body was found in a decomposed condition.

The incident came to light when police was informed by residents of the building about a stinking smell from the apartment.

CID team of Sharjah Police rushed to the place and with the permission of the Prosecution opened the apartment and discovered the body.

Forensic evidence collected from the site reveal that the death took place at least four days earlier.

The cause of death is being investigated
