Asian to be deported for filming dancing girls
A court in Abu Dhabi’s western region sentenced an Asian man to three months in prison and ordered his deportation from the country after he was found guilty of filming school girls while dancing, a newspaper said on Thursday.
The court sentenced him on charges of violating the privacy of other persons and showing the pictures to other women without the students’ approval.
During appeals hearings, the defence lawyer asked court to acquit his client on the grounds the school girls did not object to him filming them.
“This is not a violation of privacy as the girls knew he was photographing them and did not object,” the lawyer said in court, according to Alittihad daily.
