Baby survives 80 hours on top on mom’s corpse in sewer

A 21-month-old toddler in Argentina survived 80 long hours on top of her mother’s corpse in a sewer before being rescued.

The 33-year-old man went to meet his estranged wife last week to pay her maintenance.

That was the first time he was seeing the baby after being forced to  recognize her following a DNA test, according to  newsbite.com quoting a Mirror report.

The incident came to light when the woman’s two children, from a previous relationship, reported them missing.

Doctors treating the child say lying on top of her mom may have protected her from cold and saved her life.

When found, she was covered in filthy water and was all wet in the rain. She suffers from a fractured leg and pneumonia.
