Boy, 12, dies from electric shock

A 12-year-old Saudi boy died after he was electrocuted by a power pole while playing with friends in the Gulf Kingdom, the press reported on Tuesday.
 
The boy was clutching the pylon on a road near his house in the southern Saudi town of Najran when he got the shock and collapsed.
 
Police spokesman Captain Al Ashawi said the boy died instantly and an investigation into the incident is underway.
