Boy locks himself in freezer; dies

An 11-year-old Saudi boy accidentally locked himself up to death inside his family freezer at their house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Gibreel was playing with the freezer before he jumped into it and accidentally locked the door, the Arabic language daily ‘Sabq’ said.

“He had not apparently known the door will be locked. He had tried to open it but could not. His family later found him dead inside the freezer,” the paper said in a report from the Southern Jazan province.
