Boy’s finger saved from tight ring

Civil defence men used special tools and creams to save a 7-year-old boy after his finger was stuck in a tight ring and started to swallow.

The boy’s parents called the civil defence in the Western town of Taif after they failed to remove the ring, which the boy had in his finger for nearly a month.

“The civil defence men worked for nearly 15 minutes to remove the ring, using special tools and medicines…the boy’s finger was not harmed,” Sabq daily said.
