Cabbie rapes woman in front of her infant

A 25-year-old Egyptian taxi driver raped a woman in front of her infant near the police department but was identified and arrested later.

The 30-year-old woman had asked the driver to take her home but he changed route and drove to a deserted area behind the traffic police department in the northern Egyptian town of Damanhur, newspapers said.

He then threatened to kill her before ripping off her clothes and raping her in front of her new born baby, the paper said, adding that the man was later identified and arrested.
