Dad dies saving child falling from 3rd floor

A Syrian father sacrificed his life to save his three-year-old daughter falling from their third floor apartment in Kuwait by plunging down and letting her land on his body.

The father was in his room when his daughter climbed up onto the balcony and lost her balance before clinging to a small rope dangling from the flat.

As her father rushed out to the balcony, he saw that her hands were slipping off the rope and she was falling down.

“He quickly jumped to her and both fell down.
“He hugged her and let her land on his body as he hit ground.
“The father died on impact but his daughter was slightly injured and taken to hospital for treatment,” the Arabic language daily ‘Al Anba’ said.
