Dad, son run over on way to mosque

A Saudi man and his son died after they were run over by a speeding car while on their way to the mosque for dawn prayers, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

Abdul Aziz Al Yousuf and his little son were crossing the road to the nearby mosque in the capital Riyadh when they were hit by the car.

“They were rushed to hospital but they died on the way. The driver fled after hitting them,” the Arabic language daily ‘Sada’ said.
