Dad sues son over dud cheque

An Arab expatriate in Abu Dhabi is suing his son for issuing him a dud cheque and a sentence is set for later this month, newspapers reported Wednesday.

The man, a contractor, told court in the capital that he would accept Dh207,000 from his son, who works with him, as a first installment within a settlement.

The court decided to issue its sentence on January 19, the papers said, without identify the father and his son.
