Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) is planning to organise a recreational trip for 26 outstanding students aged between 11-15 years from Bait Al Khair and Dar AL Bir Associations.
The initiative is a gesture of appreciation from Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s wife Sheikha Rawdha bint Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum.
Sheikha Rawdha bint Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum is the head of the initiative for the development of learning skills and is also the honorary Chairperson of the Council of Mothers of Dubai.
Ali Khalifa Al Rumaithi, the director in charge of the affairs of television channels in DMI praised the efforts of the community department for its social, humanitarian and charitable efforts with the help of government departments and private institutions.
He added, “This has contributed in highlighting the role effective social role of the DMI and open channels of communication with several organizations to realise and shed light on what their right role in media means.”
He also stressed the readiness of DMI to provide all kinds of support and assistance to different charitable and humanitarian associations in the UAE.
He announced that the DMI will also organize a photo contest and give away a valuable prize to the student who submits the best photo album of the trip.
He called on the children to enjoy the entertainment voyage, which is a small reward for their efforts throughout the academic year.
On the other hand, Ahmed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Commercial Affairs and Marketing at DMI confirmed: “DMI’s vision is based on innovation, quality and it plans to keep pace with the objectives and strategies of the Government of Dubai.”
He added that along with providing a dedicated set of institutional values, the DMI also offers distinguished, credible and high quality information services.
Meanwhile, Maryam Al Murr Ben Hariz, the head of the community department expressed her thanks to Sheikha Rawdha bint Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum for her kind gesture in sponsoring the trip for the outstanding students.
