Dubai Media Incorporated (DMI) recently conducted a special training programme for the directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
The four-day programme held between May 8 and 12 focused on the skills of dealing with media.
The crash course is part of DMI’s efforts to communicate with all government departments and enhance the levels of communication among government employees.
Conducted by a group of highly skilled professionals from DMI, the training course took all RTA directors through the various steps of effective communication.
Ali Khalifa Al Rumaithi, Director of Dubai and the Executive Director in charge of television channels of DMI, said: “These courses are part of the process of modernisation and development of a culture of communication media between media institutions and governmental departments in the UAE.”
The conclusion ceremony was attended by Ahmed Al Hamadi, DMI’s Director of Marketing and Commercial Affairs, Ahmed Al Sha’er, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications and Government Relations.
