Driver causes crash after jumping red light

A driver was caught on camera jumping the red light in Saudi Arabia, causing a serious accident on the busy road.

A brief YouTube film carried by Ajel newspaper and social networks showed the car cruised through other vehicles stopping for the red light at the junction in the Northwestern town of Tabuk.

Just as the car was inside the junction, it was banged by another vehicle which apparently crossed the green light.

The paper said it was not immediately known whether the accident caused casualties.
