Drunk driver jumps 7 red signals before crash

A drunk Kuwaiti driver jumped seven red lights in the Gulf emirate before ramming into a power pole and suffering from injuries in the crash that badly damaged his vehicle, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The unnamed driver was about to jump the red signal in Kuwait City for the eighth time when he hit a power pylon just before the junction.

“Passers by told police that the driver jumped seven red lights before crashing into the pylon…his car was badly damaged and he was taken to hospital after suffering injuries,” the Arabic language daily Al-Watan said.
