Dubai Courts solved 206 disputes worth Dh79m
Dubai Courts succeeded in reaching reconciliation between parities involved in cases of Dh79m total value during the first half of this year.
The court has established the Reconciliation Centre last February to help solve civil right disputes prior to referring them to the relevant court.
Mohammed Amin Mubashari, Director of the Centre lauded the achievement of the newly established centre and said: “Within five months the centre solved a total of 206 disputes of which 117 were civil, 60 commercial and 2 property related disputes of total value Dh79.130m.”
Regarding the time consumed in solving disputes, he said it differs from case to case as well how early the involved parties accept the solutions proposed by the centre.
“Disputes involving big amounts faced difficulties in arriving at a solution. However, the centre succeeded in reaching amicable solution in a dispute involving Dh50m,” he added.
