Earthquake jolts China's Xinjiang

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Akto County in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Tuesday, according to initial measurements from the China Earthquake Networks Centre.

The epicentre was monitored at 39.27 degrees north and 73.6 degrees east. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage.
