Eid: 153 mosques, prayer yards in Sharjah

Sharjah Islamic Affairs Dept. allocates spots

The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah has allocated 153 mosques and prayer yards to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers, including 111 in the city of Sharjah, 16 in the central region and 26 in the eastern region, as well as allocating a number of venues for non-Arab communities across all cities of the emirate.

On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, the Director of the Department of Islamic Affairs, Abdullah Khalifa Yarouf Al- Sabousi, extended congratulations to The UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and The Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, Sheikhs, citizens and residents. He wished for welfare and peace for the people of the UAE and Muslims worldwide on the advent of Eid al-Fitr.
