Elderly Saudi woman has test-tube baby

A Saudi mother in her 50s delivered her first baby after suffering from infertility for many years, a newspaper in the Gulf kingdom reported on Wednesday.

The woman from the Eastern Ihsa province got pregnant after a test-tube procedure. However, she suffered from certain issues in her 20th week, Okaz said.

“She was admitted to hospital for treatment. She had an early delivery in a Cesarean operation in her 29th week and the baby girl was in good health,” the paper said without mentioning the woman’s exact age.
