10-day Ramadan Night Market opens in Dubai

Ramadan Night Market, the consumer fair, opened its doors to the public on Thursday, August 1, at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The market was formally inaugurated by Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the presence of shoppers, senior executives from DWTC, management of Sumansa Exhibitions – the organisers of the event and esteemed guests from the media fraternity.

Running until August 10, 2013, the 10-day shopping fiesta will run from 8pm till 2am every day during Ramadan and from 5pm till midnight during Eid. Entry to the exhibition is free.

This year’s fair includes new features such as Arabian Souq, Fashion Pavilion, Food Pavilion, Health and Beauty Bay and Special kids Zone. Organized by Sumansa Exhibitions, the night market will bring together around 400 exquisite outlets offering residents and tourists a great opportunity to shop for all their festival needs under one roof.

“There is a lot happening at this year’s Ramadan Night Market, we have created a fun atmosphere for the entire family especially for the little ones, parents can enjoy shopping while kids can be engaged in varies interactive workshops or can simply have fun at the kids play area, a special zone created just for them. Visitors can expect excellent bargains, wide product range and a wonderful ambience, plus there are daily raffle draw prizes worth thousands from Sharp, Dnata, Lifestyle Fine Jewelry, Arwah- the Magic Touch etc”, said Sunil Jaiswal, CEO- Sumansa Exhibitions.
