11 accidents in 5 days kill 2, hurt 19 in Dubai

Two people died and 19 others were injured in 11 accidents across the last five days in Dubai, according to the Director of the General Directorate of Traffic in Dubai Police, Colonel Saif Mazrooie.

Explaining some of the accidents Col Mazrooie said a collision took place in the Al Quoz industrial area between two vehicles.

In another accident, one person died when his bike was overtaking on the shoulder of the road, and led to his falling down.

He added that another crash in the early hours of the morning was between a truck and a bus at the Marina Mall intersection. One of them broke a red signal.

Several of the accidents involved motorbikes and the Dubai Police have issued an advisory for all bikers and motorists to be very careful.
