13 illegal workers held in Dubai’s Naif area

The Department of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has arrested 13 Asians for violating work and residence laws.

They were held during the department’s campaign against illegal workers and residents in the Naif area. The raid was planned in co-ordination with Dubai Municipality.

Major General Mohammad Al Marri, Director of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said all the arrested men worked as porters without licence in the Naif Souq.

Al Marri urged the public to call 8005111 if they have information on illegal workers or residents.
