2 Emiratis found dead in car in Al Ain

Al Ain Police is investigating the suspicious death on Saturday of two young Emiratis in a parked car belonging to one of them, the Arabic newspaper ‘Al Khaleej’ has reported.

The two youths were found dead in a car parked in front of a bakery in the Al Khurais area of Al Ain.

According to eyewitnesses, the two had stopped in front of the bakery at around 2.30am to buy food. They had waited in the vehicle while the food they had ordered was being prepared.

When a worker of the bakery tapped on the car’s glass to hand over the prepared food, there was no response and he thought  the vehicle’s occupants had fallen asleep.

The next day (Sunday) morning at 6am, suspicious workers informed the police that two young men were lying motionless in a car parked in front of the bakery for a long time.

Police, who rushed to the place, found the two dead and took the bodies to the morgue of Al Ain Hospital.
