A four-vehicle pile-up has left two people with serious injuries in Ajman.
The accident which took place on Sheikh Khalifa Street in Ajman has been blamed on vehicles suddenly changing their lanes, according to the police.
Acting on a call received about the accident, the Ajman rushed to the accident site near the Gulfa bridge and immediately transported the injured to hospital for treatment.
Lieutenant Shoaib Abdullah Kajor Director of Traffic and Patrols has appealed to drivers and road users to exercise caution while driving and to abide by traffic rules to avoid accidents.
He stressed that the Ajman Police aims, through its work, to reduce the number of traffic accidents, which include the deployment of patrols and conducting traffic awareness campaigns.
